Antediluvian occultism passed on through Cham?

  • I have always wondered if perhaps certain occultic practices & traditions that are believed & practised now, both by hindus & other idolaters, & also by the various secret societies, may have their origin in the antediluvian world, in rites practised by the descendants of Cain. Could it be that Cham preserved & passed on these things to his family? Or is it simply that the devil started over again so to speak, deceiving the post-diluvian inhabitants of the world into the same errors & idolatry that had existed before? So little is known about the antediluvian world that one can only wonder about what might have existed. It seems not improbable that the antediluvians developed machines & technology of a high order, perhaps even surpassing that which is known today. The long lives which they lived would have facilitated this. They had hundreds of years to think & experiment, & must have become ever more worldly as time went on, in light of God's eventual punishment in the form of the Deluge. Does anyone here know of any books or articles that have been written on this sort of thing? I'd like to read the thoughts of anyone here who happens to share an interest in this.

  • Just how many years are thought to have passed before the Deluge?

this is unlikely. i'm sure archaeologists would have dug up something by now if that were the case.

  • They don't dig that deep perhaps.  After a massive global flood it is possible that the lands where people lived we buried in hundreds of feet of mud, rock, silt and other stuff.

They did find an INCREDIBLY complex mechanical computer on a Roman ship in the Mediterranean.  I think it was at least 2000 years old.

It took science years to work out just how complex it was because they assumed it could not be that complex.

Hard to "find" this stuff if you don't stay open minded to the possibility that the ancients were very sophisticated.

Cham was a son of Noe. Noe was a descendent of Seth.

I don't see how there can be any descendents of Cain about, since the Flood wiped out all except Noe's family.

  • I have read the above theory posited by Solange Hertz in one of her books. I can't remember which as it has been many years.

i doubt they'll dig up a laptop computer any time soon though. the cretans had air conditioning and indoor plumbing, but it was crude in comparison with today's air conditioning and plumbing.
