  • Wife pushed me to the limit. I can only take so much bullshit till a valve blows.

I'm fuming. I call out her behavior. We had another big heated argument. She makes her usual threats and insults.

What can you do about a wife's passive aggression?

  • While I do genuinely have sympathy for your problems, I REALLY, REALLY HATE IT when screwed up people try to pull everyone around them into their dysfunctional shit-show. As I asked in a different thread, "is it helping?"

This is a forum on the internet. What the heck you talking about? Someone has family issues. Get over yourself.

So you let her control your emotions?  You sound whipped.

  • Have you ever thought she's doing it BECAUSE she gets a reaction from your???
    She's exibiting very childish behaviour.
Maybe it's time to tell her in a VERY CALM voice to behave herself or you may have to take action and have her committed for a mental evaluation.
Never react emotionally.  Stay calm....keep her guessing...this should let her know you mean business and that this behaviour is to end or there will be consequences.

Yes and that it won't be you who will be leaving the house but her and her alone.
You could also have her evaluated by her doctor if this behavior came on suddenly but if not then God help you.

She refuses mental evaluation. She is an adult woman in 2025. This isn't the 1950s. She doesn't have to do anything.

Don't play into it. Ignore her.

  • Tell her to sleep on the couch. She sounds ungrateful. It's no wonder men are less willing to get married these days.

  • Maybe you deserve each other. God put you together on purpose to sink or start swimming. Your choice!

  • I just wonder how many of these posts are all made by the OP.  Right answer is that we are in absolutely no position to even comment on the matter, since we don't know what transpired, what OP means by passive-aggression, whether OP started it or the wife did, or whether OP usually starts it or the wife does etc. etc.  Zero information should lead to zero comments ... except if it's OP himself trolling.  That would be very much like Croix, where he likes to back himself up on threads.

  • You can open anonymous threads to make you feel better, but it is not guaranteed that it will work.

  • I am just going to pray for you and your wife.  I don't think there is anything more we can do.

If you are the same poster as the defrosting meat on the the floor thread.  Were you able to speak to a priest?  Did he give you advice?  Try to follow it.
