The Democratic party has a little problem.  Their would-be "white gαy Obama", Pete Buttigieg, can't get black people to vote for him.  They have an issue, and with good reason, with electing an openly practicing gαy man who is "married" to another man.

This is kind of strange.  The Democrats tend to "all stick together" and make one another's grievances and interests their own --- abortion "rights", various minorities and their grievances as being "oppressed" people, women's rights, welfare recipients, and so on.  Could this be an indication that the Democratic "glue" isn't as strong as they would have you think?

And if black people are supposed to be so "socially conservative", why then do they vote for pro-abortion Democrats?

And what are they going to do if Buttigieg becomes the Democratic nominee?  Vote for Trump?  (Though he, too, supports gαy marriage, he is obviously not gαy --- furthest thing in the world from it! --- and he is very supportive of black people, always has been.  People generally don't accuse Trump of being prejudiced against blacks.)

They vote democrat because they know who gives them there food stamps and welfare.  

OK, let's suppose that what you say is true.  (You said it, I didn't...)

Would they rather vote in November for a gαy man who lives with his catamite, and have all that going on in the White House?  Things that their entire culture, and very rightly so, has a big, big issue with?  Even to the extent that they denied it existed in the black community for a long time, black gαy men had to be "on the down low"?  Or would they say, well, Trump is basically a good guy, he likes us, he is good with gαy marriage, but he's very much the ladies' man, so he better reflects what we value?

The democrats aren't going to run Buttigieg. It would be a guaranteed disaster.

If I had to predict, Elizabeth Warren, if she ends up being the nominee, might select Pete as her running mate.  He is young, superficially more conservative (comes across that way from being buttoned-down, slim, somewhat handsome, basically the "white Obama" Democrats would love to find), and, yes, gαy.  A Warren-Buttigieg ticket presses all the buttons (except for one being a person of color).

It will be either that ticket, or Biden with Amy Klobuchar as his running mate.

No, but do the ones who are not getting welfare and food stamps want it to be available to their "brothers"?
