    • Question: May someone explain the change in 1488 of the Gospel side being left changed to right of the altar and Epistle side being right changed to left of the altar.  I have read what is available on the internet but is hard to understand.  And the other question:  The symbolism of taking the Missal from the Epistle side to the Gospel side.  I thought it had to do with the changing of a people in their faith.
