  • A priest friend called me last night to say that Fr Peter Scott in Canada has been forbidden by his district superior to comment on the Rome-SSPX agreement. True, it has come to my ears from a priest, but that does not mean that it is not a rumour. Unless, of course, it is another Menzingenite-Rostandite type of rumour which means that it is true .....

What these obsessively controlling, manipulative, domineering priests in Bishop Fellay's orbit need to have repeated to them ceaselessly until they humbly submit and desist from their errors and step down from their positions is that they is that they have absolutely no right and no authority to prevent any priest from telling the truth about the attempt to put the SSPX under the control of neo-modernists.

  • Father Peter Scott silenced Fr. John Rizzo back in the winter of 1993. Over raising objections to abuses going on at SSPX schools.  This silencing attitude has long existed in the SSPX. The priests who have dished it out for years, now find themselves on the receiving end.

Yes, and if this silencing attitude doesn't come to an end - whether the priests are for or against the deal - there's no future in the real world for the SSPX, whichever direction it may take or however it may split.

  • I've thought long and hard about this, asked very old priests and read up on the subject and as far as I can tell this ordering around of priest and silencing them without listening to their complaints has gone on for as long as anyone can remember.

A lot of priests who had said the Tridentine Rite went over to the dark side willingly at Vatican II.  Were they all Bella Dodd plants and Anti-Apostles?

Being realistic about it I reckon many priests threw the baby out with the bathwater, because they did not like the same domineering authoritarian attitude we ourselves don't like today of ignoring objections and riding roughshod over legitimate complaints?

There has to be a reason that they thought the Church needed to change, at least in terms of its man-management skills.

Hence many welcomed Vatican II where the prospect of dialog and fraternity among the Catholic and Christian, and even non-Christian communities would greatly improve. JohnXXIII wanted some fresh air let into the Church .....

  • It seems odd to me that anyone could 'silence' Fr. P. Scott.  He was a 'modernist mauler' when district superior of the US. especially in his sermons at St. Vincent and in his articles in Angelus Press.  If he ever becomes a bishop, watch out!  He's got 'fire in his belly'- that Fire is from the Holy Ghost! (from my perspective) :geezer:

You are right.  'man-management skills'= poison.  Godly managed skills= a strong Church with great back-bone and speaking with Authority that commands respect and attention.  Everyone who has come in 'contact' with Rome has been poisoned with Vat2 'kool-aid'.  No wonder +Fellay looks 'delirious' and how others have described him as a 'cock-eyed dolt'.  His actions speak of the company he keeps.
