I know of an interesting story. I know of a Catholic who has schizophrenia and one time he was going crazy and he had an interesting experience. He thought for some reason that he was the Pope. And he got out his computer and wrote a kind of encyclical. In the letter he urged young Catholic boys who went to public schools to stop going to school, leave their families and go into the woods and live in the woods. And once they were in the woods God would send angels to take care of them and feed them and instruct them until they were old enough to live on their own at which point they would leave the woods and go out into the world.
