  • Croix, you are so pathetically effeminate and extremely immature.
You copied and pasted this exact insult and posted it on at least two different threads.
Gee, AMDG forever (other account is Quo vadis Domine), I didn't know that Croix still lives rent-free inside your mind and your wife's mind.  ::)

  • Can you post a picture of this?

NOTE:  The collection was taken up before the Gospel to accommodate the procession.
This 1961 picture can be found here  https://archive.org/details/mycatholicfaith0000reve/mode/2up

In the 1963 edition, also on page 304, you'll note the table is now in use with the priest facing the people.  It can be found here

Wow...  To be printed in 1963, this must have been planned for quite some time...  Thank you for sharing!

From the time of the Gospels to this day, Satan's ѕуηαgσgυє has been infiltrating and subverting Church and State.

After the 1962 missal was released, there were a series of "new" missals from 1963, to 1965, etc leading all the way up the new mass in 1969.  The period of 1963-1968 was full of constant change.  Some diocese were more "experimental" than others.  There are many black-n-white pictures, from this period which show the laity walking up the aisle of the Church to "give the offering".

The changes in the Church liturgy started in 1963, not in 1969 with the new mass.

Did you not see the "Offertory Procession" was introduced in 1961 NOT 1963?

Ok, but this was not part of the 1962 MISSAL, which was my point.

OK.  I understand, but was it ever part of any missal?
Would the lay people's offering even be mentioned in a missal? After all it took place on the other side of the Communion rail.   No pre Vat II missal mentions taking up collection.  Neither the procession nor the collection are part of the liturgy.  Actually the procession just substitutes for the credence table.
