A visionary known to me had a brief vision of Our Blessed Mother a few days ago, just after the feast of Christ the King.
This individual was praying a complete psalter of the fifteen mysteries from 10pm towards midnight, when during the last Hail Mary of the first decade of the Glorious Mysteries, the Blessed Virgin Mary became visible during a slit second.
The image was not static, but was full of life. Our Blessed Mother was expressing joy at the resurrection of her divine Son. It was an expression of joy expressed once in a lifetime. She did not express surprise as did Saint Mary Magdalene (from the report of the Gospel).
Our Blessed Mother appeared very fair, with the features of Our Lady of Good Success. It must be said that the visionary had recently prayed the lyrical nine days' Novena to Our Lady of Good Success composed by Fr. Jose M. Urate. It is likely that this is the reason why the Virgin Mary appeared under those features, because the vision was so brief. It is logical to think that Our Blessed Mother wished to be instantly recognizable.
Note from the writer/reporter: I have been hesitant at reporting this brief vision, even from behind the mask that is offered in the format of this traditionalist blog, because rebukes hurt. A friend said that it is okay to report private revelations, so I went ahead, considering that due to the disintegration of the Church and its likely imminent death, recently confirmed by the arbitrary dismisal of Bishop Williamson, the timeliness of this brief vision is a sign of hope.
Note about the visionary: This visionary is no saint, but a mere penitent, and had never seen Our Blessed Mother from this close.
Once Our Lady of Guadalupe had appeared at the approximate distance of a football-field. It was during a demonic attack suffered in the aftermath of a group-prayer done in front of an abortion clinic (in San Jose, CA). The distant presence of the Mother of God made the demon vaporize (Our Lady of Guadalupe was more than the sacred image on the tilma: she was alive).
Twice the visionary saw the foot of the Virgin Mary. At those two occasions it was made understood that it was the foot that will crush the head of the snake. Her foot was bare from under a long dress. Its proportions were exquisite. It had a perfect arch, and the harmony and grace of its movement was not of this world.
An other time the visionary became under an other demonic attack. This was just after having received the Brown Scapular from a Franciscan Priest (this priest was visiting from Bolivia in a quest for fund-raising after an earthquake). The demon had the appearence of a hirsute witch who stood at about ten feet distance. The witch was shaking her head in admiration. This is at this moment that a friar appeared in between the demon and the penitent. The friar was kneeling, but was looking neither at the demon nor at the visionary. This was for the obvious reason that the demon was too ugly to be looked by a saint, and that the visionary was impure even if being a repentent.
Anecdotes of visions like this are numerous. Also the visionary heared three times the voice of Our Blessed Mother. Twice it was in a contemporary language, when the Virgin Mary was simply speaking to one of her child, and once when she likey was speaking in Galilean. This particular event occured while meditating upon the seventh dagger mystery that pierced the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. Mary was arranging the sepulcre of her divine Son. She was giving instructions to the disciples in a low tone of voice. Her words were not understandable to the visionary, thus the conclusion that she was speaking in Galilean.
This reported brief vision of the Blessed Virgin Mary expresing joy and appearing victorious is real. Its significance is timely. It is a sign of hope for the devouts, the faithful, and the repentents.
