Why is your opinion of Fatima? I'd like to know why you do not support it?
I am suspect of Fatima for several reasons;
- The the first time the children saw the apparition, she was wearing a short dress of knee height and earrings (in later apparitions she wore a dress to her feet).
- Adults who came to the later apparitions said they heard the sound of insects they she spoke and only Lucia could understand her.
- When the 3 seers were held from going to one of the apparitions at the appointed time, the other children seeing the disappointment of 'our lady' became blood thirsty.
- The apparition was said to appear with the sound of thunder and like a flash of lightning (with the sound coming first).
- Christ warned us of false signs of wonders, the 'miracle' of the sun seems fit to be wary of.
- Abnormal support to the apparition by all sides, e.g SSPX, dimonds, muslims, other trads and even vatican 2 anti-popes...
- Muslims like fatima; mohammed daughter was called fatimah and has a title of 'pure one' (immaculate)
- The Sacred heart devotion used to be to Jesus AND Mary
- The 'angel' would leave the children exhausted
- Lucia said blood fell from the host, also angels don't have the power to consecrate the sacrament
"The Angel gave you Holy Communion, but what was it that he gave to Jacinta and me?"
“it was Holy Communion, too,’ replied Jacinta, with inexpressible joy. "Didn’t you see that it was the Blood that fell from the Host?’”
“I felt that God was within me, but I did not know how!” (Francisco)?
This revelation has too many suspect points for me. After seeing how many modern 19th/20th century revelations are outright fake or have 'extra' things added to them that weren't originally there also makes me suspect Fatima. Portugal was already taken over by freemasons at that time as well. The short skirt is probably one of the larger red flags though the other stuff also raises concerns. This and other strange answers from the children seems to be the reason why the interrogations from the priests to the children have never been fully published in the English language. However, it can apparently be found in the book 'Os Mouros Fatimidas e as Aparicoes de Fatima'
