  • I've always wondered about this: whenever someone says "it's like the chicken and the egg scenario" or "what came first, the chicken or the egg?" or whatever other way they want to phrase it etc. etc., it goes without saying that if anyone says that, they are obviously implying that evolution is true and that they believe in evolution since if you believe in creation, you know it's stupid to ask such a thing since you believe God created either one first right?

I apologize if this is a stupid question but I just want to clear this up for myself haha.

  • It's a bit of a silly question, the answer is obvious whatever you believe. Evolution - th egg must have come first, creation - the chicken came first.

I suppose it does serve a purpose in expressing the problem with infinite regress though.
