  • Some good, but if the same one they had, it shows a priest around 100+ yrs ago doing Mass facing the people during consecration......cannot see video here at work.......if same one, a bit of propaganda, but hard to see, too as it is split second......as if priest would do that 100+ yrs ago......a plug for NO?

  • It's entirely novus ordo...

I remember seeing a commercial on tv that showed a pretty little girl receiving communion kneeling, and some other quick flashes of imagery.

  • Considering that these ads are airing on mainstream TV, they are fairly well done but they come across as desperate.  Like an open admission that most Catholics decided to leave home.  Yet, no one in the ads, does it mention any reason for the exodus.

  • I served on this committee.  It came out of an observation that many fallen Catholics stay away from church because they are embarrassed that they have been gone so long.  The attempt is to get them into confession and get them to repent, and then have them be catechised and be part of the church. It also brought about many baptisms of young children.  The photos flashed on are real pictures of real masses and sacraments, and reflect different ages of people.  It was pretty successful and brought at least a dozen families to our parish. They are now adorers and faithful Catholics.

Good points. Diagnosing the cause should be more important than merely treating the symptoms.
