That's the spirit! I don't blame you for leaving the bigger picture alone, as those "childish remarks" make it plain that you did not come out of yesterday looking very good - and all on a site indexed by Google.
As far as I am concerned, "the issue" (as perceived in your world) is over.
Although you likely (and understandably) wish that I hadn't written any more, I am free to do as I wish. That I wrote more isn't really very "interesting" at all - except to those who seek to make it look like it means something when it doesn't.

FWIW, I never said Mark has ever received a $70K salary - that was Raw-hide's comment. I said the family received $1M or so - which is just doing a little guesstimating. I know some numbers solidly, and the rest flows from the fact that almost the entire family, in one way or another, is (or has been) on the payroll.
It would be a sweet deal, except Bp Dolan and Fr Cekada have run the whole clan ragged in order to operate The Show.
The use/abuse/discard modus operandi of the Vipers of Vaudeville has, in a way, affected the Lotarski family FAR WORSE than any other.
Let us operate with the presumption that, despite being run ragged by the Vipers of Vaudeville, they had only received $500K over the last ten years. Is the intellectual and moral joke-of-a-school somehow justifiable? No.

As a member of the Church, knowing children and Parishioners enrolled in the school, I feel compelled to respond.
This is Literary Forum 'Drive-by' on a fine school, a fine Church, fine priests and their devoted Parishioners.
Gladius is carrying on A sneak attack of the worst kind.
He proves nothing with his vitriol, but seeks to discredit with these undocumented, fabricated, overdramatic ad hominum attacks that are corrosive.
He was outsted and Barred from the Parish for exhibiting signs of mental illness by Father C.
He is apparently distraught that he wasnt chosen to be the Principal.
I smell an agenda here....
People have come and gone from St Gertrudes over the years. This is true. They do the same thing at other parishes.
I went to 3 Trad Churches before settling on St Gertrude for the last 10+ years.
Scandals are nothing new.
Be it at a Traditional Catholic Church school, A Novus School or Public School. We are dealing with young people, and young people do not always use the best judgement and discretion.
As far as I am concerned, all scandals (few) have been dealt with appropriately and privately.
Regarding the Lotarskis compensation, it seems fair.
They are paid less than that of public school teachers and officials, and Mark has duties outside of his responsibilities as the Principal.
They live modestly, they have a large family and are good, devoted people. They are compensated for their time which is appropriate as I see it.
Children 'abused physically'?
Overdramatic nonsense.
Children play. Children play rough. There have been no reported injuries, no deaths, no bloody lips, noses or knees no stretchers or hospital visits.
More drama and nonsense from the peanut gallery.
The real scandal here is Not the one at St Gertrude, but the one Gladius is prostrating forth.
Moderated -- rash judgment and calumny.
If one wishes to discuss Canon Law, have at it.
But to attack the school, where you were denied employment, for the position as Principal for which you applied, is downright mean spirited, scandalous, and exposes your agenda for what it is....that of a personal nature.
Disappointment due to St Gertrudes (non) hiring decisions and now trying to desperately disparage and discredit them.
Bishop Dolan does not drive, he is not licensed, nor has he ever driven a car.
Before the Rectory was built, The Bedroom in the back of the Church (by the office) was where he slept to get up early to say Morning Mass, Because he did not have a way back to the old Rectory (5-6 miles).
I pray Gladius soul searches, goes to confession, apologizes and to all of the members here, for his callous, insenstive and vitriolic statements that were personal attacks due to his illness.
With all that is going on, this is not what we need to direct our energy on...my goodness people,
33 pages of nonsense.
We will see more of these attacks, mark my words.

The posts of "Pope Innocence III" must be taken with a grain of salt -- no, make it a 10 lb salt lick!
We don't know him from Adam -- he comes in here out of nowhere and digs into Gladius with claws and fangs. Many of us know Gladius, and the picture "Pope" paints of him hardly matches the reality that I've perceived over the past THREE YEARS.
He says he doesn't know Eamon? Well I know him much better than a few "sightings". I've read hundreds of his posts, which gives MUCH MORE INSIGHT into the man.
Gladius may be a hothead, but he's not a liar. He's also a Catholic of good will.
And in this particular case, he was NOT acting the "hothead". He was very rational about this whole thing, spending plenty of time in consideration and prayer before he wrote the first sentence.
I'll let his posts stand for now.

Very sad.
300-400 people attend St Gertrude and are devoted Parishioners, as I am.
The Children are well educated, well adjusted, learning and enjoy their schooling based on the smiles and their playful nature that I have seen in the school parking lot.
Shame on all of those that would seek to discredit the School and those that are invovled with it.
It is not perfect, no school is.
But I would have no problem sending any child there.

I saw him just a few times, smoking his pipe outside of Mass.

This is a fanatical, incapable stretch and I am here to inform you that its not apreciated and weakens any credibility you mightve once had.
The Couple will be fine, provisions I presume have been made and its scandalous to bring it up, so dont. It really is none of your business, nor mine.
Obama got the same prize the Jewish War Criminals Henry Kissinger, Menachim Begin, Rubin, and Perez got.
Big deal.
Sadly I dont see him cutting off Israeli aid, or warning over their theft to build more settlements in the West Bank.

I think I am fairly detached and objective
Ive been to Immacualte Conception, SPPX, SGG, Sacred Heart in Cincinnati.
Settled on SGG. Just comfortable there.
Of all 4, the most cult like was Immaculate but thats another story
