I support objective standards of decency that openly conflict with the wider society when necessary. There's plenty of old writings and customs that can be researched to understand what should be done. Catholic girls who are talented seamstresses and designers should work to help provide good clothing.
(today at my grandmothers they were admiring baby clothes she sewed for my mother - she is a skilled seamstress (though she's 92 now - I don't know the last time she sewed something)
When Catholic women who complain about such standards say times have changed, they are neglecting the fact that times have changed because of a feminist revolution in society.

......................... "I realized the desire of Rome to impose their ideas and their way of seeing. Cardinal Ratzinger always told me "But Monsignor, there is only one Church, it is not necessary to make a parallel church."
Which is this Church for him? The Conciliar Church, this is clear."

Well that is definitely true. I mean the feminist revolution really altered how women see things saying how jeans and sweatshirts are adequate attire, how cosmetics is a form of consumer fraud, high heels are sexist and bad for the calves, marriage and men are evil, etc. etc. etc.
Well you know not only feminism but the global economy we are in works hand-in-hand with the destruction of the family since the road to the middle-class gets shoter each year along with the end of a "family wage." I am reminded of the labor movement calling those capitalists who want women to work in factories and mills as "cormorant capital" as greedy capitalists. It sounds about right.
Another thing feminism supported was the lesbian movement...

Well, you aren't a non-liberal because you're accused of being a liberal.
And clearly you are an outright liberal. One who openly coquets with being one, all the time. Just to be indignant then about those who rightly identify you.
I don't understand why liberals dance around the non-liberal Cathinfo forum here anyway, when there's already tons of liberal forums including Clare's very own. Is it the search for controversy for the sake of controversy? Or is it pure boredom? But then a hen party would be a much better place to drop such mostly uninformative postings.
Back on topic:
What should men do to become someone women want to marry?
Be true catholic men, i.e. embrace the Faith and live it. This makes real men who're valued by real women. Both are extremely rare these days, but God has His options.
Please read Bishop Williamson's many Eleison Comments about this "real men and real women" topic. Maybe someone would like to compile a list pointing to these Eleison Comments? These Comments are very helpful. We can learn so much from them. God bless Bishop Williamson!
And as already said, dear bachelors: Let's hold out! After the Chastisement which will practically begin in 2012 and unfold fully in 2013, everything will be changed. Thank God. And inter alia there will be plenty of marriageable catholics then... :-)
