I think you're going too far in calling Bach's music Satanic. How does Bach distort melody and harmony?

......................... "The dauntless will have to forge ahead alone; in old pagan Rome, the first Christians also had to abstain from participating in the feasts and meetings of their fellow citizens. Perhaps the new paganism can only be vanquished by such sacrifices. Nevertheless: Nolite timere, pusillus grex, quia placuit Patri vestro dare vobis regnum" (Luke 12:32).-The future Cardinal Von Galen, October 1926.
"For Catholics to follow their times is a disgrace, worse than that of a king abdicating his kingship. How can such (liberal) Catholics be taken seriously? Either they will come back to the fullness of their Faith or they will go over to the enemies of the Faith, but they cannot remain suspended in between."- Louis Veuillot
"Instaurare Omnia In Christo."-St. Pius X

I should have said Tolkien. I appreciate the monarchical slant of Lord of the Rings but not the wizards and elves nor do I believe that God would ever work through the fantasy or sci-fi genres. There's always some poison mixed in there.
This whole period of English history is so weird, this brief bloom of "Catholicism," the Pomp and Circumstance era of Elgar. Am I the only one for whom almost all English Catholicism post-Henry VIII smacks of an effete form of paganism, even Druidism, just like the Anglican Church? Now that spouse has posted all these articles about the binding glue of many of these figures, the Distributist philosophy, along with their espousal of the French Revolution, it is beginning to make sense.
Even the conspiracy researcher Nesta Webster, who wrote at great length about the anti-Catholic forces in the world, defended ENGLISH FREEMASONRY in her books, as if it were a benign form of Freemasonry and one that only has the good of the world in mind.
England is a disaster. I remember losing my passport on the way to Germany -- another disastrous country -- and having to stay over in London. London struck me as a deeply occult, evil place. It looks totally different than I pictured it in my imagination from the time of Jack the Ripper or ####ens, yet the EFFECT was the same -- a shadow-world. Instead of twisting streets you have a subway that's about 10,000 feet underground; instead of fog you have a sickly neon glare; instead of prostitutes you have creepy Hindus and skate-punks.
Excuse me, but I had to laugh! I canīt imagine where you lurked about in London. I lived there for ten years and there are many beautiful places and many wonderful Catholic churches. Of course, modern cities are generally vile. But modern life is generally vile!
I have also now lived in Germany for 25 years and have been in many very fine places and good Catholics too.
There are many fine Catholics in both countries.
I have never been in America but I am sure that everything doesnīt look like Downtown Manhattan (wherever that is!) or Motown or wherever they film ghastly American sex and violence films!
Sorry! No offence to Americans!!!!!!!!!!
Why are they "pseudo Catholics"? Because they are converts?
Are Newman, Faber and Manning "pseudo Catholics"? And St Edmund Campion?
For 250 years English Catholics had to undergo savage persecution and lead a clandestine and restricted life.
Over 200 missionary priests were hunted down and murdered by the authorities! Lay people gave their lives - about 300 - or were savagely tortured.
Perhaps that makes us rather wierd?
But the light never went out and always the Mass was celebrated somewhere! - and not a Novus mess either!
