Check out Urban's posts so far.  Here is his ideal government:

Quote:
"1. American

2. Democratic

3. Constitutional, with Bill of Rights

4. Secular government, based on Enlightenment principles"

Here is what he says about Jews:

Quote:
"I once distrusted Jews -- even thought of myself as an ardent anti-Semite. I've since changed my mind considerably. One of my best friends is Jewish, and I believe the West must back Israel faithfully, in this age of renewed Islamic assault. "

What is scary is that a lot of trad Catholics think this way.
What is even more scary is that none of this is technically a heresy, which shows how much damage the devil can do even within the true faith, with all of his lies.

A general rule is that all my posts before 2011 are dangerous to read. At the time I was nothing short of a frothing Pharisee. Please ignore my old posts against NFP and implicit faith, both of which are true teachings, as well as Fatima and Lucy's later revelations, which I now see are of continuing paramount importance in the history of the Church.

I also apologize for my lack of prudence when speaking about clergy in the past, I didn't know where the line was and often judged intentions instead of actions and words. My deepest apologies to Pius XII especially, who I judged in the harshest light and accused of being a communist infiltrator. This was not intentional slander but my true belief at the time. I still have problems with his pontificate, but no proof of any intentional malice. I even insulted the Church itself by questioning his Holy Week reforms, for which I am, again, bitterly sorry. I also spoke unforgivably about Pius XI, suggesting or saying outright that he was also an infiltrator who was in effect working towards Vatican II.

I also apologize with profoundest regret to Abp. Lefebvre and Bp. Fellay, the nuns who left CMRI, for assuming malign intentions about all or some of them, and for saying the nuns were witches; Father Cekada and the SSPX priest Fr. Boulet for suggesting or saying they were deliberately intellectually dishonest, Bp. Vezelis for spreading a rumor about him that is not verified; I also apologize to Fr. Martin Stepanich, Mgr. Fenton, Father Brian Harrison, Cardinal Newman, De Lugo, Suarez, Erasmus, and anyone else I have forgotten, for saying or suggesting they were heretics and/or infiltrators due to my former errors. I was also very harsh on Dietrich von Hildebrand and Cardinal Gibbons due to my beliefs at the time, however, in their case, there was reason for concern, I just would not call them heretics, perhaps some of their ideas would have the theological note of "ill-sounding." During all this time, I was under the influence of major scruples, probably without even knowing what that meant, and had a distorted, extreme view of the Crisis.

Well, saying the Constitution is the best form of government is pure Americanism, but I'm not sure that has the note of heresy. I think it's considered a grave error.

I really miss John Paul II and Mother Teresa. I took them for granted when they were alive, and deeply regret that. Now I revisit their lives and works nearly every day.

I am so happy to have Pope Benedict, a man who is really trying to DO something about the problems in our Church.
In 2005 he gave us the "Instruction Concerning the Criteria for the Discernment of Vocation with regard to Persons with Homosexual Tendencies in view of their Admission to the Seminary and to Holy Orders".

In 2007, he gave us Summorum Pontificum. I thank God & Pope Benedict for that every day. We now have a choice whether to attend a Liturgy that the Pope, Himself delared "Banal & manufactured" or the TLM.

This past year, He lifted the excommunications of the SSPX Bishops. Come on..........if we're going to talk "ecumenicism" shouldn't it begin with the SSPX. Or is it reserved for the Anglicans, Lutherans, etc.

Just this past month, he publically called for an end to blaming the Jewish Nation of yesteryear, today & tomorrow, for the death of Christ. Christ came into this world to DIE & he did so for the sins of all mankind.

He bacame pope in 2,005........&, while his achievemenrts seem slow, by Vatican time, they are coming fast & furious. For the past 6 yrs. it almost seems like he's aware of his age & the few years he has left. He's trying to make so much happen & being persecuted by some of his "own" within the Vatican.

His appointment of Opus Dei Archbishop Jose Gomez to the Los Angeles Diocese, replacing the Cardinal that built the ornate MONSTROSITY that I call  the Taj Mahoney & he calls a Cathedral..........that should be quite interesting to follow.

So, no.........I haven't had time to miss Pope John Paul II, as so much has been happening. I believe that he was a holy man, a good man, a VERY charismatic man. As for his papacy, I wish that he'd not ignored some of the abuses that were going on.......in the Liturgy, the priesthood & in the Pastoral responses of the American Hierarchy.

I like him, too. He was allied closely to John Paul II. His writing doesn't inspire me, however, as much as that of John Paul II.

A man who endorsed non-Catholic worship at Assissi inspires you? A man who excommunicated Archbishop LeFebvre and the SSPX just because LeFebvre consecrated more bishops inspires you? Are you by any chance a poster that came over from Catholic Answers?
.........................
This Conciliar Church is, therefore, not Catholic. To whatever extent Pope, Bishops, priests, or the faithful adhere to this new church, they separate themselves from the Catholic Church.” -Abp. Lefebvre
