This is fun, looking at everyone! Putting a face on the notes really helps.
Mine is on my avatar, recent photo, a few months old.
After reading here however, if it is vanity, I think I will change it. Never thought of it that way.

Well you are an older woman. If you posted yourself at eighteen it might be vanity. But for you now it is okay. For Telesphorus it is probably okay because he doesn't seem vain. I don't know about Caminus.
On the other hand, EcceAgnusDei has talked about how she used to show off her bod and stuff, and she is still 21. If she posted a picture of herself, it would probably be vanity. And I once wanted to be a movie star and would stare at myself for long stretches of time so I try to forget about how I look, or how the plastic surgeons made me look. I will start showing myself when I start getting wrinkly and grey.
This is all just my opinion, of course. I don't know the exact Catholic protocol. ( I mean, we can't hide completely, we still go to church ).

Raoul and Caminus were only born a week apart?
That explains a lot.
I have yet to meet two people that close in age who are "close" in any other way. It's as if they're the same personality type (being the same Zodiac sign AND the same Chinese year sign) so they're not compatible. Rather competitive than compatible.
Not that I dated much, but I dated one girl who was a Scorpio -- it just didn't work out. It's like trying to get two positive poles of a magnet to come together -- it just doesn't happen.
Incidentally, my wife is a very compatible sign for me, which happens to be the same sign as Dulcamara, who is the sister I got along better with. :)
Apparently, Leos and Scorpios get along well.
And no, I don't personally believe the Zodiac OR the Chinese year system is total nonsense. The Chinese culture is the oldest running culture, and historical Catholic figures (can't remember who -- sorry) said "China has maintained the Primitive Revelation -- what Adam and Eve knew -- more intact than any other culture". Just think about it -- acupuncture, martial arts, astronomy, -- even the "ying and yang" is very close to the Thomistic concept of hylomorphism -- matter and form.
I don't believe the Persians, Egyptians, and countless other advanced ancient cultures were just "wasting their time" charting the stars. There has to be something to it.
I believe the star sign under which you were born has some influence on you, just like your race, etc. but we are still firmly in control because of Free Will. Your star sign, genes, upbringing, etc. just determines what your autopilot direction will be -- that is, if you make no effort to direct your behavior.
That is where most people get it wrong. People get INTO astronomy because they see the truth about the influence of the stars, but they go too far and deny Free Will.

I don't know, Raoul -- I think you should post your pic. If someone asks you, it's not vanity, right?
Besides, we've seen plenty of vanity with your words, so don't worry about that.
For most men, vanity would take other forms than mere physical appearance -- you would think.

Boy, girl, girl, boy -- The first three, at least, is just like Ladislaus' family and my own family!

That's a very interesting post. Are there any articles on all of that?
Caminus has some pretty nice looking children; their eyes are all identical blue. I bet any mom walking by has the sudden urge to pick them up and squeeze them.
Telesphorus, your mustache makes you look sophisticated
