I think the thing to realize is that not just the Republican party, but all parties seem to be the vehicles by which those in power (Jews, Banksters, Masons- take your pick, they're all the same) use as their force to distract and confuse those in our nation.
Of course, the Republican party, as compared to the Democratic, has attempted to demonstrate itself as the party of moral value- but that's just a farce. There's too much money floating around the government to allow the entry of someone with true moral values into politics.
