I've been suffering from terrible insomnia due to my crazy work schedule, so last night I decided to clean out my friend's fridge (who I trade late shift babysitting with) and I found she had a whole container of organic heavy cream (expensive!!) that was reaching the end of its lifespan.
I decided to google and see what I could do with it, and what do you know, I found out how to make butter. It was a little messy, but I'd say it was a first time success! It tastes soooo good that I had to make fresh blueberry muffins to put it on.

Love this website! I love real butter and never buy the fake stuff, but I think I'm going to see how long it stays fresh and try to keep making my own because it is really yummy. Butter isn't bad for you either. :-) I'd say coconut oil has more health benefits, but it is expensive, and some times you just need butter. :)

So yeah, blueberry muffins, my first batch of homemade butter, and a huge cup of coffee (to help me forget I didn't sleep last night!) on this beautiful and blessed morning!
