They are living the "good life", the red carpet having been laid out for them.  I used to see some of them somewhat regularly at the hotel where I worked: http://www.thedavenporthotel.com -- not exactly the embodiment of the spirit of poverty!

Did you happen to take note of the fact that they went to WYD?  Wasn't it in Australia!!!???!!  Who paid for that one?

They are kind-but-naive women, most, if not all, of whom never even knew the NOM, etc.

Why don't you go sing some Marty Haugen with them at a nice and 'reverent' NOM, 008, or make plans to attend WYD with them in the future?
