Had a break in last night. The burglar entered the garage and made of with some of my best gardening tools. Since I live in a pretty small neighborhood I usually keep all the gardening tools in the garage. We were all pretty shook up as we never really had any break-ins before.Right now I am looking for some good alarm systems. While doing a bit of research online I came across a blog that mentioned some of the benefits of getting both a wired and a wireless alarm system http://protectionplus.ca/blog/wireless-future-alarm-systems/. I have heard that installation wise wireless can be pretty easy and has more options but I am not so sure about this. I am open to any suggestions. I don’t have any specific price range.I want to integrate it with my phone so that I can get notifications even while I am away.

Get a dog.

A dog! In our neighborhood, we had dogs. The dogs died off, next we had cars b broken into, 2 stolen and probably made Mexico in a short time. We told the police, but the neighborhood is nice, quiet. Police said, and that is why. Then neighbors got dogs again and the problem disappeared.

Our neighbor decided on an alarm system..I called it a "booby trap". Cats with their movements, would set it off. I would get phone calls from the alarm system org. and I would say, why are you calling me for?!

A DOG!!!
