How about if it were the good angels who taught mankind about agriculture so that they could live better? There was an angel who taught Anthony the Abbot and Pachomius received his rule of life from an angel.

Yes, it is possible that good angels also taught humanity, but in the pagan cultures these angels were clearly fallen angels because the pagans called them "gods" and gave them false worship in opposition to the true God. A good angel would not allow such false worship. And also in the Book of Enoch, which of course is not accepted as part of the Bible, it says that angels rebelled against God and then came down and taught humanity these things (they also took human women as wives) and that they were condemned by God to hell for this rebellion.

Read the "Life of Christ and Biblical Revelations" by Anne Catherine Emmerich. In particular, book 1. It's fascinating.

When mankind split up after the Flood and the tower of Babel, you better believe that both Good and Evil were at work, influencing how things would turn out.

You know that Providence wouldn't have been "asleep" during such a crucial time -- God knows the future, and what affect the ancestors of the French settling in the "wrong place" would have on His plan for the world.

The Book of Enoch is not recognized as a book of the Bible.
