Does anyone know why the owner of that Te Deum Forum suddenly "exited stage left" the helm of his own website?

The owner of Te Deum has taken a hiatus. He has not left.

He informed the forum that he was taking a break and left one of the moderators in charge in his absence. It is misleading to describe it as a sudden exit. There are any number of good reasons why a person might need to do this and, since he did not share the reason, we should respect his privacy. It seems like idle curiosity to be discussing it.

What is TeDeum? Well, I assume it's a trad forum, my real question is, is it a spinoff from somewhere or has it been around for a long time?

Absolutely. I've failed tonight. I was supposed to do some studying. Instead, I got drawn into that discussion about Ham and sub-Saharan Africans. The little time I have before the exam is precious, and I really shouldn't have dipped into the forums to check the latest chatter. So, that's my bad.

And then I saw this pseudo-detraction bull---t going on here about Te Deum. And I find that kind of behavior to be very cheap. The online Trad Community has enough problems without having to deal with various gamma male assaults.

True. I was just trying to offer a constructive example. It's too easy to insult someone or stir them up.

But seriously. If tdrev123 thinks he's "all that," and that his positions are right and interesting, then he can always toss out the rhetoric, and take a seat in the dialectic for a change. That is...offer something positive and substantial, rather than airy insult.

Unless, of course, he's already burned his bridge.

My ambition is to have a forum that is jerk free...franks ambition is to have a Church nothing but....your ambition is to cry and whine like a little girl.

Joseph, are you hinting you are starting your own new chat bored? Or is D. Myth actually not the de facto decision maker?
