Anyone else experiencing this? Being able to read PM's but not being able to reply to them due to "Cath Info Exiting" error message? I was able to send -- not reply --- to a new PM I sent Matthew regarding this issue, but I can't reply to my own received messages.
Also, I apologize for putting this in General Discussion. I searched for a Tech Issues forum, didn't see it.
Once in a while, the server I'm on experiences problems. Too much load, they need to reboot, or something. When this happens, you'll get an error like that.
There is nothing special about a PM compared to viewing the forum, posting a post, or any other forum activity.
The fact a PM gave you an error was a coincidence.
But I assure you that the programming for CathInfo (the part I have any control over) works 100%.
Unfortunately, sometimes
the whole site goes down for a minute here or there. I don't have my own server, but rely on a hosting company. If another site is misbehaving that could take up all the resources of the server, and then ALL sites on that server will have problems.
