  • First make sure you are logged out. Then restart your computer.

You can also turn off cookies, but then to log into a lot of sites you will have to turn them on again. Also delete your browsing history.

I have Steganos Safe which has trace destructor on it. I run that every time I turn on or off my computer, at least 4x a day. I also notice the lag time from CI and will run it after logging out from the site and it works.

There are probably easier ways to take care of the problem you are having.

    Good luck.

  • I know what that is. It's a tool bar. Go into your add/remove programs and delete whatever toolbar that is. I can't remember the name of it, but my kids were playing their little mini games and got that somehow. All you have to do is delete the toolbar. If it's still there, then make sure you don't have any toolbar add ons by going to tools and then add ons and disable whatever add on might be doing that.

    I use firefox.

Yes, any toolbars like that are real garbage for the end-user. They make money for the games that install them on your PC. But that is the only party they benefit.

  • I use Firefox, but the past few months I've been getting "script too busy" and " flash pluggin problem", or something along those lines, which stalls my computer. It's very irritating. I deleted some extensions and uninstalled SilverLight because I read they sometimes cause these problems, and it seemed to help a little, but the problems seem to be coming back again. Also, these problems are attributed to Firefox in general, at least that is what I've read when researching solutions to these problems. I've been thinking about switching to Google Chrome, but I heard that is basically a conduit for data-mining and spying. Is this true? Which is better, Firefox or Google Chrome?
