Yes.
To claim otherwise is to posit an effect without a cause. It is plain that V2 rocked the Catholic world, and that many so-called Catholics espouse(d) (at best) Protestant notions about the nature of Holy Church - including many Council Fathers and the 'Popes' of the V2 and post-V2 era.
