  • Bishop Richard Williamson will visit Germany in the next days according to the webpage katholisches.info. Williamson will consecrate a chapel of sisters in Häusern, southern Germany, and visit the Carmelite nuns of Brilon Wald who have left the FSSPX some weeks ago. Further the bishop will be the guest of a Sedevacantist Mass centre in Wigratzbad. According to katholisches.info, in Germany a split between followers of the FSSPX and followers of bishop Williamson is imminent.

  • He will certainly need our prayers whilst in that ungodly country.
May God send His angels to guard him and keep him from harm.

What congregation do the sisters in Häusern belong to? And are they former SSPX proteges, or independent, or sedevacantist, or what?

    The Sisters are Benedictines OSB.
They left the Newchurch in 1989/1990 and are since then independent.

Their independent monastery is called Kloster Marienberg in the South-German town Häusern in the impressive Schwarzwald (Black Forest in English).
Archbishop Lefebvre consecrated the monastery on 28 April 1990. It doesn't belong to the SSPX.

The monastery's chaplain Fr Riedl is a brave, faithful, independent priest (consecrated in 1976 in Eichstätt, Germany). He was a friend of Archbishop Lefebvre and follows his course.

That's the brave Fr Hermann Weinzierl's chapel in the famous Marian pilgrimage site in the little town Wigratzbad.

This is what we know. But please don't trust the German website Katholisches.info which the Austrian website Gloria.tv just quotes. Katholisches-info is aggressively anti-Bishop-Williamson and their linked text mixes a few truths with half-truths and many untruths.

God bless Bishop Richard "Lionheart" Williamson and all other Roman-Catholic clerics holding up the Faith.

They're adoration Sisters, formed in'88 from an older convent of 'Precious Blood Sisters' who went all indulty...

There's something about them on the Asia District website here:
    http://www.sspxasia.com/Docuмents/Society_of_Saint_Pius_X/Vocations/Womens-Communities/Chap-14-Precious-Blood-Sisters.htm

    Their address:
    Anbetungskloster Marienberg
    Haselwies 10
    79837
    HÄUSERN
    Germnay

As far as I know they're not sede... they used to be allied to the SSPX.

Oh no, your details are very good, thanks for them.

Your keyword is good: convent of 'Precious Blood Sisters', Schwestern vom Kostbaren Blut.
I think their convent is a branch of the Benedictines. Corrections welcome.

  • Ethelred, does it pose any danger to Bp. Williamson to visit Germany now?  I mean, could they apprehend him on any outstanding charge?

I don't believe there is an apparent link to the Benedictine Order in the case of the Schwestern vom Kostbaren Blut (SPPS), unlike the Missionary Sisters of the Precious Blood (CPS), Missionsschwestern vom Kostbaren Blut of similar sounding name but entirely different origin.

It seems the name is Töchter Mariens vom kostbaren Blut (Daughters of Mary of the precious blood)

  • Thanks Pyrrhos and Marion. So, it's a complicated origin. :-)
Still, very brave Catholic sisters with a good and experienced chaplain. By the way, also (external) laypeople attend this traditional Catholic mass center there.

I think that if the brave bishop keeps a bit of a low profile (for example doesn't talk about the h0Ɩ0h0αx in public television), I think it could work. Also he appealed, so is the charge in abeyance then?

Generally there's always a danger for an upright Roman-Catholic bishop to visit countries which are controlled by the oldest Enemies of Our Lord, the money masters. Like Germany, Austria, France (see "Lex Faurisson"), Canada (see Zündel trials), USA (see Kennedey assassination via crossfire), and most of the Western World. But I'm sure he knows that, and he's a brave bishop and so God will guide him.

He will certainly need our prayers whilst in that ungodly country.

Germany as state is basically as ungodly as similar other former Catholic states, including France. These countries are today in the hand of the oldest Enemies of Our Lord, because we Catholics (i.e. globally, universally) are so weak. See EC 225 (5 November 2011).

Still Germany has been one of Archbishop Lefebvre's main piers for his traditional movement. When today most German-speaking traditional Catholics blindly follow the liberal Superior General's transformation of the SSPX into the Ne-SSPX', they in their majority do so because of the universal liberalism amongst Catholics. Bishop Williamson warned against this sliding into liberalism for decades.

Anyway, it's a great honour for the true Germany (not equaling the "Federal Republic of Germany" farce) and for every upright German, when His Excellency Bishop Williamson is going to set foot again on our soil. His strong faith and love for truth is an example for all of us. Let's escort him with our prayers.

  • I respect the members of our SSPX parish who are with the Holy Resistance and no longer attend the local Fellayite chapel...I myself am going much less...the Maronite Mass in Greer is an option...but not a very good one....Bp Fellay says that Vatican II is part of Tradition..it's not...He says that the New Mass is valid AND legitimate...it's not..The ArchBp taught that it's a "slow poison"..and a "bastard Mass.."....bp Williamson was setup and expelled by the enemies of the true SSPX

  • Germany has no statute of limitations on the 'crime' of h0Ɩ0cαųst denial. Irving was arrested there ten years after he had given a conference, iirc.

    From phone

"Be kind; do not seek the malicious satisfaction of having discovered an additional enemy to the Church... And, above all, be scrupulously truthful. To all, friends and foes alike, give that serious attention which does not misrepresent any opinion, does not distort any statement, does not mutilate any quotation. We need not fear to serve the cause of Christ less efficiently by putting on His spirit". (Vermeersch, 1913).

  • I could be wrong, but since Bishop Williamson appealed against his latest conviction, I think the verdict is not legally valid, until the appeal is decided in a court.

Some expert in German law, maybe? Krah? (Just kidding about that one, really.)

I suppose the bishop's consulted his lawyers before he decided to undertake this journey. One Richard Lionheart imprisoned in some Austrian castle was enough. :-)

Soon, we're going to know more either way.
