I have two responses to the OP:
1. Generally good advice. I have decided to simply avoid threads or topics that are likely to raise my blood pressure. Those are not the sort of subjects I really want to discuss anyway.
2. I am a prominent poster? Wow.

......................... Stir up within Thy Church, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the Spirit with which blessed Josaphat, Thy Martyr and Bishop, was filled, when he laid down his life for his sheep: so that, through his intercession, we too may be moved and strengthen by the same Spirit, and may not shrink from giving our lives for our brethren. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son, Who liveth and reigneth with Thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, one God, world without end. Amen.

1. Thanks! This was the goal of the OP.
2. Yes! Or at least I would think so.
I'm really glad you, SpiritusSanctus, &c. have come back.
CathInfo works like a mirror: what you show forth is what you get. If you show forth good and edifying things, you will get good and edifying things. Yes, some members may spoil it sometimes, but what matters is that CathInfo is a record of the whole spectrum of traditional Catholics in various circles: ideological, social, geographical, political, &c. So, you are doing the right thing.
Plus, let's keep it real: "CathInfo withdrawal" symptoms are not pretty.

Well, apparently the person who down-thumbed your post above is not happy that we are back. Or maybe he/she is simply not happy I am back. Yes, that must be it. I am MUCH more annoying than SS.
