Well, NeilO, you make all sorts of accusations, then go silent. Or are you just working on another one of your poorly formatted replies?
.........................
It would be comparatively easy for us to be holy if only we could always see the character of our neighbours either in soft shade or with the kindly deceits of moonlight upon them. Of course, we are not to grow blind to evil for thus we should speedily become unreal; but we must grow to something higher, and something truer, than a quickness in detecting evil. - Fr. Faber

Please take this discussion to the appropriate thread, as it is not concerning the
present one, which is about Fr. Pfeiffer's sermon.

Fr. Pfeiffer has a LOT to say, and we have barely touched on a third of it. It's rather
shameful for this forum to post his magnificent preaching and then go off on
tangents pretending to not notice. It's almost as bad as two parishoners standing up
in the pews, while Fr. speaks at the podium, squabbling about how they parked their
cars outside or whether the right way to dress is with a black tie or a cumberbun and
spats.

Let's try to keep this thread with some semblance of decorum, in honor of the
fine priest whose sermon is the subject thereof.

P. S. You are most welcome to constructively criticize my formatting over there.
Not here.  :farmer:

Neil, YOU invited the discussion by YOUR post on THIS thread. If it's a "tangent," it's YOUR tangent.
