It's not the face of the man per se, it's the face of the man on a baby's body. It's freakish and offensive.

I don't know, the face didn't offend me at all. Basically, it said to me: an adult man, longing for a mother's love, which he didn't get as a child. Modern art isn't supposed to make sense. That picture made sense and seemed to fit with the thread topic. So, I wouldn't call it modern art.

I don't know why anybody would be offended by it, but maybe it is a guilty conscience or maybe they just hate men. Envy? I don't know. Maybe the attack on the picture is just an indirect/"subconscious" attack on a male seeking sympathy in a culture that rejects that, because it has decided men are the root of all evil in the world. If it wasn't the picture, maybe it would have just been something else.

It is easier to stir up vice, than virtue.

I like to say acts of contrition for people, when i think they need them and might not be saying them for themselves :-)

Hey this is it! Emotional Deprivation Disorder Thank you!

lot of lady say that these miss out on maternal loves too. I don't think it bad for these lady as it is for mens. I feel like sometime there a whole in my heart. It is sad. But what can I do?

hopefully the lady's reading this will be cognizant, and make sure they give their chidrens all the love they need.

I can't place the title right now, but +Bishop Williamson gave an excellent talk one afternoon on LOVE.  In part, he went on to say parents can actually 'love their children to death'....that is, through interference, too much attention, thinking for them, (making their choices), watching every move they make and preventing any harm to come to them, yet utterly failing when the child needs them most.
If I find the title, I'll post it here.  Great insights on parenting and loving.
