Whilst on same topic, the decline of the Mercy Sisters was obvious during the 50th International Eucharistic Congress in Dublin. I didn't get to go but saw a video of theirs. They did so much good in Ireland but went modern. They took in many unwed girls in the past and still help them today.

Yeah, the Sisters of Mercy ran our parish school and local hospital growing up. They were a rapidly collapsing, thoroughly liberalized order.
The local parochial grade school was a rotten place to send a child.

......................... "I realized the desire of Rome to impose their ideas and their way of seeing. Cardinal Ratzinger always told me "But Monsignor, there is only one Church, it is not necessary to make a parallel church."
Which is this Church for him? The Conciliar Church, this is clear."
