Whenever the issue of illegitimacy crops up, the issue is always unwed motherhood.

That's simply false Clare.  You obviously have your ears closed.

Could you provide links to threads about unwed fatherhood?

You cannot let any responsibility fall on women without trying to shift the burden to men.  In any context.

King of Straw!

I have never said women bear no responsibility. I just find your shifting of the blame onto them tiresome.

The blame is shared.

Yes, and there is a lot of laxism about the sorts of entertainment that are permitted to young people.

Well that started back in the 1950's when the Greatest Generation let the baby boomers sit in front of a television for 5-6 hours a day.

That is really the point.  The problem is greatly exacerbated by the lax attitudes of the authorities in these churches.

Agreed.

Yes, that's why genuine opposition to feminism shows itself to be principled.  That is it recognizes the ways in which the attitudes have affected society.

So much opposition to "feminism" is nothing but lip-service and relatively ineffective anti-abortion activism.

There is not serious opposition to the ongoing social changes.  On the contrary, those who point out the changes are heavily criticized, slandered, etc.

I think you mean if you criticize feminism you are called a sexist, Nazi, hateful monster, and behind the times.

It must have done something.

Illegitimacy has skyrocketed, particularly in the last 10 years.  That's why I'm saying this is revolutionary change.

Oh come on Tele. Don't get into the same Trad Catholic fetish, "The 1950's was a utopia!" kind of thinking. I don't see what was that great about a society of consumerism, teenage rebellion, teenage sex, pornography, etc. What happened in the 60's with the counterculture and the sexual revolution grew out of the 1950's.
