I've just been watching various performances of Panis Angelicus on Youtube in order to collect them for my new Catholic Music blog. I found a couple of lovely performances by Andrea Bocelli, Charlotte Church and Chloe Agnew then I came across this brief video by a monk (possibly friar?). His voice is divine and he displays such joy and light in his face when he sings. Simply beautiful. I am trying to find out who he is in the hope there are more recordings out there. I tried contacting the profile on youtube to no avail...

Here is the video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGZMz...ature=youtu.be

Who is he?

Clare

At the risk of sounding like a church nerd, he is a friar, not a monk.

If he is a priest, he could sing a High Mass beautifully.
.........................
Stir up within Thy Church, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the Spirit with which blessed Josaphat, Thy Martyr and Bishop, was filled, when he laid down his life for his sheep: so that, through his intercession, we too may be moved and strengthen by the same Spirit, and may not shrink from giving our lives for our brethren. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son, Who liveth and reigneth with Thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, one God, world without end. Amen.
