Well, Sede Catholic, you and I don't agree but sedevacantism, but you say I misrepresented what the Pope said. Let's see, the exact quote of the portion I mentioned is as follows, from Cum Ex,

"The Roman Pontiff, who is the representative upon earth of God and our God and Lord Jesus Christ, who holds the fulness of power over peoples and kingdoms, who may judge all and be judged by none in this world, may nonetheless be contradicted if he be found to have deviated from the Faith."

Isn't that, in a nutshell, what sedevacantism is?  A longstanding contradition of a Pope spreading errors.  The quote doesn't give any length of time for contradicting, so it's open ended.  If only more Catholics contradicted Paul VI and if only more Bishops stood up as ABL did.  How much better the state of the Catholic Church.

As it stands today, there certainly would be nothing wrong with an individual Catholic accepting the sedevacantist view, given the current state of the Vatican.

This is freightening. In the following quote, Ratzinger implies that Christ is not present in the Eucharist!

Quote:
Eucharistic devotion such as is noted in the silent visit by the devout in church must not be thought of as a conversation with God. This would assume that God was present there locally and in a confined way. To justify such an assertion shows a lack of understanding of the Christological mysteries of the very concept of God. This is repugnant to the serious thinking of the man who knows about the omnipresence of God. To go to church on the ground that one can visit God who is present there is a senseless act which modern man rightfully rejects.”

As I wasn't a Catholic yet, I always thought John Paul II looked evil, and Benedict XVI it's hard to find a picture of where he doesn't look creepy either.

You can't judge a Pontiff, or anyone for that matter, by the look on their face. Rather, by ones works are we known. I have heard of Saints who were accused of looking cranky or rigid, probably because they did a lot of penance, or maybe they were suffering a great deal for unknown reasons, whether spiritual or physical. I am not defending the post conciliar Church men by saying this, but really, this is what so many Protestants are saying, because that's what they want to see....

In this world we are all in a valley of tears. Our consolation is not here; we shall have it eternally in Paradise, if we suffer tribulations on earth.  -Saint Benedict Joseph Labre
