I wanted to share some awesome news! I saw my friend that I had this conversation with back in October and she is 4 months pregnant!! She said that 2 of her sisters are pregnant as well, about 3 months! Her sisters have had their miscarriages within 8 weeks of conception so for them to get to 13 weeks (or so) is very exciting. Don't know if the wild yam played a part but she is an absolute believer as is her sisters.

Praise God. It was so exciting. So, in 5-6 months we're all going to have 3 new babies in the world.

I have heard that wild yams contribute to higher rates of twins too. The twin rate is very high in societies where lots of wild yams are consumed.
