I used to work out for at least an hour and a half a day. Would swim several laps, do push ups and bench presses. Working out really gets you in good spirits the rest of the day. But I've had to cut that down to 20 minutes or less these days for other reasons. Not good, but hope to start again soon enough, Lord willing.

......................... "There will be an Ecumenical Council in the next century, after which there will be chaos in the Church. Tranquility will not return until the Pope succeeds in anchoring the boat of Peter between the twin pillars of Eucharistic Devotion and Devotion to Our Lady. This will come about one year before the end of the century." ~ St. John Bosco, "Twin Pillars prophecy", A.D. 1862.

Dont work out but i ride a bicycle often. For a while last year was riding forty miles a day to go to classes in next town over, before i moved. I was in really great shape after that but Im lazy so I let myself go pretty quickly.

Well I'm back from a killer workout at the pool. It does wonders for everything, including needing less sleep, getting stuff done more quickly and feeling grateful for what we have. It's so glorious, the water and sun with my kids.
It's horribly expensive to swim indoors in the winter around here, so I always end up gaining weight during Christmas, even if I fast for Advent. I have found homeschooling to be sort of fattening, because it's so homey, cooking, baking, sitting around due to learning styles.
I love the water because it's low impact and high resistance, but mostly because it elevates my spirits and I get twice as much done. No wonder people love to live on the sunny coastlines!
