Two years ago a teacher of mine who was a Trad Catholic converted to Eastern Orthodoxy. She knew I was starting to attend the SSPX at the time and my spiritual leanings so she generously gave me over a hundred Traditional Catholic books. Amongst these are a series entitled "I am your Jesus of Mercy Vol. 1-6" written by a Gianna Talone Sullivan. They seem to describe the words of Our Lord and His Blessed Mother as spoken through a group of people from 1987-1999. Are these verified "apparitions" I suppose you would call them? May I read them as the true words of God and Our Lady?

In Christ,
Adam

I wouldn't touch them. But let's hope that others here can give you sounder reasons.

A quick search was enough to convince me that it's diabolicaly inspired. The former actress who makes the claims may be a loony or maybe she is an opportunist.

I found this info:

There are many references in the written and filmed documentation to the return of Jesus as a child (with pictures of the Infant of Prague in the background, etc.). There are references to "a Eucharistic spiritual reign where the Child Jesus will usher in a kingdom of peace" (May 5, 2001).

Thank you for your responses. I have read through portions of them and it did seem a little suspect. Especially since they occurred at "Life teen" events. The number of Life teen Masses I was forced to attend lead me to conclude that that would be the least likely place for such events to occur. I could barely pray!

Another related question- My teacher also gave me all of Anne Catherine Emmerich's books, or rather the ones written about her and her visions etc. I have thoroughly enjoyed these and have read all of them in full. Does anyone know the status of these writings?

Thanks
