The following is a little ditty I crafted for Bishop Daniel Dolan and Fr. Anthony Cekada, commemorating the birth of our nation, presently overrun by self-serving leaders - politically, financially, ecclesiastically, etc. - whose arrogance knows no bounds. The words are intended to harmonize with the tune of "My Country, 'Tis of Thee" (a.k.a. "America") and "God Save the King/Queen." It goes without saying, singing out loud as you read makes the whole thing immeasurably more enjoyable. God speed.
St. Gertrude's, SGG,
Church where hypocrisy
Reignest supreme.
Cult where truth is suppressed,
But all are nicely dressed,
Linens are starched and pressed,
Time for The SHOW!
Wanna pull out your hair?
"Shut up, just grin and bear:
'Humility'."
Toxic kewl-aid to drink,
Do anything but think,
When you leave, see a shrink
'cause you'll be scarred.
School kids allowed to smoke,
The place is such a joke,
I wanna puke.
They'd sell YOUR soul for gain,
That much as day is plain.
And if you dare complain?
They'll smear your name.
It's all about the green,
Think ya know what I mean:
Dead Presidents.
Convent, church, rectory,
At peak they sold all three,
Still ask for MORE money,
Where'd that dough go?
Toxic smoke, mushroom cloud,
Compelled to scream aloud,
"If smoke, then FIRE!"
Let's drop any pretense,
They use the Sacraments
As weapons in "defense"
'gainst those who see.
School rules out the ying-yang,
But if you're in 'the gang'
They don't apply.
Thug kids threaten adults.
Complain? Get NO results.
Well, friends, as in all cults,
They do not care.
Holiness nowhere seen,
But albs are really clean
Externals RULE.
Older kids see the lie,
yet we all wonder why
such crap they do not buy
once they leave home.
Can't look men in the eyes?
Such comes as no surprise,
O Danny Boy.
You should have talked with me,
Had opportunity,
Squandered so foolishly,
What a mistake.
Pulpit for Gospel used?
No, but sheep are abused
With fake "sermons".
Women-haters are they,
Guilt-trip them every day
In every kinda way,
Classic mind games.
Vocal prayers til ya drop,
Noise thru Low Mass, non-stop
No peace at all.
Vocations? None in sight,
On them there is a blight,
Sepulchres shiny white,
Filthy inside.
The writing's on the wall,
To the ground all will fall,
It's falling now.
Info from confession
Used in conversation?
Man, they get all the fun
At your expense.
Always fine wine on hand,
One day you'll understand,
God is not mocked.
Fine dining all the time
On parishioners' dime,
So wasteful it's a crime.
Spendthrifts are ye!
Then there's the Schiavo gaff,
Arguments were a laugh,
Sane men just cried.
Murder he advocates,
Doctors he castigates,
Terri suffers and waits,
For EIGHTEEN DAYS!
Are sick unto despair?
Told ya, they just don't care.
"Go fly a kite!"
Have recourse to the priests?
Be treated like dumb beasts.
Don't interrupt the feasts
Paid for by you!
Psychopathology?
O, my dear Anthony,
Tis plain as day.
Calling me ment'ly ill?
Been drinking toxic swill?
Truth you can NEVER kill.
That dog won't hunt.
Boys, if you've any brains,
Pack bags and catch a train,
Get outta town.
Evil deeds been exposed,
Stay and you will be hosed,
Barred doors behind you closed,
We've had ENOUGH!
I could go on and on,
How 'bout the Jog-a-Thons?
It's all a fraud.
Some men are really smart,
But just have hardened hearts,
I played my little part,
I now decrease.
All things will be revealed,
Secrets have been unsealed,
Can you say "TOAST"?
I am no saint, my friends,
I wield a little pen,
Dangerous to those men,
Who sell us lies.

Rank with hypocrisy,
This ship is doomed.

Sadly but honestly, I could go on for many more stanzas, each slicing it up a little more. However, I think the picture is clear enough. I may or may not add/subtract/rearrange some stanzas, but this is the essential form. God speed.
